The best reaction to this was David Bote. During Monday night’s game between the Cubs and Padres Kyle Schwarber lined his 35th home run of the season and then he fouled a pitch off his own balls in his next at-bat.
Oh yeah, there’s a slow-motion replay!
Bote could not stop laughing in the dugout.
But hey, Schwarber got the last laugh I guess, as he singled later in the at-bat. And let’s not forget the dinger he hit too.
