There was something said before Willson Contreras stepped up to the plate in the second inning and after he launched a home run he looked back at Braves catcher Tyler Flowers. After Contreras rounded the bases, Contreras and Flowers had some words and the benches eventually cleared.
Warnings were handed out.
The Braves have been acting like the baseball police for years. Fuck them. But at the end of the day as long as there’s no dumb bean ball war, the jawing back and forth is entertaining.
Spoiler alert, the Braves broadcast wants Willson to get decked.
