Hey, the Cubs finally won!
After losing nine straight and getting mercifully eliminated from playoff contention earlier this week, the Cubs headed to St. Louis for a three-game series and on the very last game on WGN they won 8-2.
Ian Happ and Robel Garcia hit home runs, while Alec Mills had another solid outing, striking out nine in five innings.
And Albert Almora Jr. robbed Yadier Molina of a home run too.
Good for Albert and no matter what, seeing Yadi getting robbed of a home run will bring a smile to your face. Maybe.
The Brewers also lost on Friday night, so they remain one game back of the Cardinals for the division crown. Cole Hamels will start for the Cubs on Saturday.
