Artem Anisimov Leaves Game With Injury Amidst Career Year With Blackhawks

-

Artem Anisimov was injured late in the first period of tonight’s game versus the Montreal Canadiens and left the game. He was checked into the boards by Alexander Radolov on a clean hit. As Radulov went down he rolled Anisimov’s left leg.

The timing could not be worse for him. Earlier in the game he recorded his 45th point of the season, a career high. On the play, he shielded the puck from a defender to create time for Patrick Kane to move up the ice and score.

Such plays make him extremely valuable to the team’s top-scoring line. Since being acquired by the Blackhawks he has become the consistent center the team has been searching for to accompany Kane.

Aa mentioned before, Anisimov left the game but no word on how long he will be out. Stay tuned to Sports Mockery for more info.
