The White Sox have released their 2026 schedule. The 162-game slate begins with interleague play in Milwaukee and features more than 8,000 miles of travel in the first month alone. Here’s a breakdown of what’s ahead for the South Siders.
April
The Brewers will host the White Sox on Opening Day, March 26, giving Sox fans a short trip north to catch the season opener. After a three-game set in Miami, the team returns to Chicago for its home opener on April 2 against the Blue Jays. The six-game homestand continues with the Orioles (April 6–8).
The Sox then head to Kansas City for their first divisional matchup against the Royals before coming back to host Tampa Bay (April 14–16). From there, it’s a West Coast swing with three games in West Sacramento against the Athletics, followed by a trip to Arizona to face the Diamondbacks.
The month closes at Rate Field with six home games, hosting the Nationals and Angels (April 24–29).
May
Travel ramps up in May with two trips to the West Coast. The month begins in San Diego before moving up the coast to face the Angels.
The Sox then settle in for a nine-game homestand highlighted by a crosstown series with the Cubs (May 15–17). The stretch begins with three games each against the Mariners and Royals, then finishes with the Cubs’ visit to 35th and Shields.
That won’t be the last time they see Seattle. The Sox fly west immediately after to face the Mariners again (May 18–20), followed by three games in San Francisco.
Back at Rate Field, Chicago hosts a pair of division rivals to close out the month, the Twins (May 25–28) and Tigers (May 29–June 1).
June
The Twins series at the end of May kicks off nine straight games against AL Central opponents. June begins with three in Minnesota before a trip to Philadelphia.
Back home, the Sox face two of the league’s toughest opponents, hosting the Braves and Dodgers (June 9–14). A swing through the East Coast follows with a series against the Yankees, then a visit to Detroit.
Cleveland makes its first trip to Chicago (June 22–24), followed by another Royals matchup (June 26–28). The month ends on the road in Baltimore.
July
The Sox open July with the finale of a three-game set in Baltimore before returning home to host the Red Sox and Athletics (July 7–12). The A’s series will mark the final games before the All-Star break.
The second half begins with a road trip through Toronto and Texas. South Side fans will see the Sox back at Rate Field on July 24, opening a six-game homestand against the Astros and Yankees. The month ends in Tampa Bay.
August
August begins in Boston with another AL East showdown at Fenway Park. The first home series of the month features the Guardians and Reds (Aug. 7–13).
Chicago then heads to Detroit before a crosstown series at Wrigley Field (Aug. 17–19). The Sox return to Rate Field to face the Mets (Aug. 21–23) and Rangers (Aug. 24–26) before closing the month with another trip to Minnesota.
September
The regular season’s final month starts in Houston, wrapping up a three-game set against the Astros. The Sox then host the Twins (Sept. 4–6) and Pirates before making a quick trip to St. Louis (Sept. 11–13).
A visit to Cleveland follows, then the Tigers come to Rate Field (Sept. 17–20) for the final time. After one last road trip to Kansas City, the Sox close the season at home against the Rockies (Sept. 25–27).
