The Chicago Cubs didn’t arrive at the White House empty handed it appears.
During their historic trip to Washington D.C. earlier today, the Cubs got a chance to see a good portion of the White House as well as meet the current resident, Barack Obama. After snapping a few pictures at the Presidential podium, posing with their significant others, and even applying a Snapchat filter to the bust of Abraham Lincoln (I’m looking at you Addison Russell) the Cubs were ready for their ceremony with the President of the United States.
As most great house guests would do, the Cubs brought the President a symbolic “thank you” package for the hospitality both he and the first lady showed.
