Today the Chicago Bulls signed Luol Deng with the intent to have him retire as a Bull.
I’m not crying, you’re crying.
Deng who was the 7th overall pick in the 2004 Draft played 10 seasons with the Bulls. Here are some of his accomplishments during his tenure:
- All-Rookie First Team
- All-Defense Second Team (2012)
- 2x All Star
- J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award winner (2014)
I could go on and on about how instrumental Deng was to the Chicago Bulls but I’ll save that for another (much longer) article. For now let’s just enjoy this awesome tribute video the Chicago Bulls threw together for Deng’s retirement:
