In a season with not a lot to look forward to, Lauri Markkanen has been selected for his second straight NBA Rising Star game.
Lauri had a hell of a time last year. He competed in the Rising Stars Challenge alongside teammate, Kris Dunn who played for Team USA. Below is a video of their highlights.

Lauri also had the opportunity to perform in the Skill Challange during NBA All-Star weekend as well. He finished in second place to former Bull, Spencer Dinwiddie.
Though Lauri started the season with an injury, he is building off of a great rookie campaign which saw him earn All-NBA first team honors.
