We have heard for weeks that Marcus Kruger and Trevor van Riemsdyk would be headed to Las Vegas. No one was really sure who would go through the expansion draft or via trade.
Well the first one to go is officially final. Trevor van Riemsdyk is headed there via the draft.
The next question is, what about Marcus Kruger? The unprotected forward with the $3.083 million cap hit who was also rumored to go to the Golden Knights.
If there is in fact a deal, it will most likely be announced tomorrow morning.

Las Vegas was the only team able to make trades with the rest of the NHL during the trading freeze but decided to hold back that information. The Golden Knights said they wouldn’t announce any trades until the expansion draft.
