Patrick Kane Makes Statement Against Racism

-

Kane posted a series of tweets on Friday afternoon about social injustice and donated to My Block, My Hood, My City, and All Stars Project of Chicago.

On Friday afternoon, Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane joined teammates Jonathan Toews and Zack Smith by releasing a statement on social media against racism and injustice in the United States. Kane, much like Toews and Smith, admitted that he cannot understand what a person of color currently must feel, but that he pledges to put his best foot forward to help fight for a change. Here’s a look at the complete statement Kane made on Friday.

Kane concluded his post with a link to a video explaining systemic racism and how these problems occur in society without many people noticing. Good on Kaner for using his platform to help make a difference during these tough times.
