The Chicago Bears have switched their priorities on offense since Matt Nagy became the head coach. One that has clearly stood out above all the rest to this point? More speed equals good. Nagy is a huge believer in the explosive play. Being able to strike at the heart of a defense with one decisive shot, rocking them back on their heels. It’s why the Bears signed Taylor Gabriel in free agency last year and Cordarrelle Patterson this year.
They want as many dynamic threats as they can get their hands on. It makes one wonder if they’ll continue their search for such types in the draft. It would certainly seem that way. One of the recent meetings the Bears have with prospects involves one of the more intriguing receivers in the class. A young man out of Missouri named Emanuel Hall.
Source tells me Missouri wide receiver Emanuel Hall will visit the Chicago Bears and his hometown Tennessee Titans this week.

Anybody who doesn’t know the name should learn it quickly. He’s not the most polished of this group, but he is definitely one of the best when it comes to taking it over the top.

Emanuel Hall not only has speed but size for the Chicago Bears
Hall was the favorite target of top 2019 draft quarterback Drew Lock at Missouri. A big reason why? He was the only one who allowed the QB to showcase his elite-caliber arm. In his final two years of college, Hall averaged a gaudy 23.6 yards per catch with 14 touchdowns. He was a big play waiting to happen.
Lance Zierlein of NFL.com compared Hall to former Pittsburgh Steelers Pro Bowler Mike Wallace, another bonafide speed threat. The biggest concern about him coming out? A lack of route running prowess. That is the same issue with Hall. He’s basically a one-trick pony right now and needs time to improve his inventory of moves to become a more complete receiver.
If and when he can accomplish that, his ceiling is considerably high. The Bears appear interested in giving him that opportunity.
