VIDEO: Poor Chicago Bears Fan Can’t Figure Out A Poncho

-

People will never understand the true dedication of Chicago Bears fans. Even has the team sinks to a 4-7 record, plenty of them still show up for games. This latest one is no exception. Despite cold temperatures and windy and rainy afternoon at Soldier Field, people still showed up. Some even had the courage to sit up at the top of the stadium where the weather was undoubtedly at its worst.

One poor fan didn’t have a fun time of it. As the rain began to pick up, he hoped to put on a poncho to keep the bulk of it off his clothes. Unfortunately, the wind made it difficult to find the holes where his arms would go. So cameras caught him fumbling around with nobody interested in helping. If ever there was a fan moment that summed up the Bears’ 2021 season? This has to be it.

What he saw on the field probably didn’t make him feel better.

The Bears had few answers for the Arizona Cardinals in the first half. Andy Dalton threw two costly interceptions and the defense allowed 21 points. The only bright spot was David Montgomery who had over 60 yards rushing including a touchdown. It is beyond evident this team isn’t in the same league as Arizona and other top contenders. Both because their roster is depleted and the coaching staff is inadequate.

That this fan was willing to endure the elements to watch his beloved Chicago Bears anyway? Hats off to him. One hopes he’ll be able to see better performances in the near future. Justin Fields should be back in the next week or so. Maybe the defenses get a bit healthier. Getting a couple of victories down the stretch might give them some momentum going into an uncertain offseason. One that could see their entire power structure purges.
