There may be no more villanous character in modern Chicago Bears lore than Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews. So any time he’s put to task by another team, it’s must-see television. Enter Ezekiel Elliott. The Dallas Cowboys rookie running back has had an unforgettable season, and he may have just provided the signature play.
Needing a touchdown to tie the NFC divisional playoff, Matthews appears to have Elliott dead to rights on a blitz up the middle. He quickly found out he was mistaken.

Dallas went on to score the touchdown and two-point conversion to tie the game. Per usual the game was put back into the hands of Aaron Rodgers. Time will tell if he can put away or if the Cowboys get another chance. Rest assured Matthews isn’t eager to see Elliott the rest of the game. Not after something like that.

The winner of this contest will face the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Championship game. A Packers victory means they go to Atlanta. If the Cowboys can complete the comeback, they would host the Falcons next week. No doubt either contest would be loads of fun to watch. Much-needed in an otherwise boring postseason.
