Top Analyst Just Made The Best Green Bay Packers Bold Prediction Ever

-

One thing about the Green Bay Packers is they’ve earned enough credibility over the past 30 years for people to believe they will always be in the playoff hunt. That is the consequence of such longevity. However, history continues to show that nothing lasts forever. Still, expectations for the 2023 team remain optimistic. The team has enough veteran pieces in place. If they can get a good year from new quarterback Jordan Love, they’ll be sniffing that divisional title yet again.

Well, at least one analyst isn’t buying into that hype. Adam Schein of NFL.com has long been a supporter of Green Bay. However, it appears his stance has softened significantly in the past calendar year. The Packers took a big step back last season in several areas. Even with Aaron Rodgers, they failed to make the playoffs. Now, people think the team will suddenly be as good or even better without him. Schein believes the opposite. He doesn’t just expect Green Bay to be bad. He expects total collapse.

4) Packers post second-worst record

Imagine telling Packers fans a few years ago that Green Bay would trade Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers in back-to-back offseasons. WOOF. This all-time talent drain will ultimately lead to a long 2023 in Titletown.

Packers coach Matt LaFleur is already preaching patience with Jordan Love. That underscores my worst fears about a quarterback who seemed like a reach as a first-round pick: At best, Love is green; at worst, he’s inept. Green Bay’s fragile offensive line sure doesn’t ease concerns, either. And Joe Barry’s defense took a step back in 2022.

The 2022 Packers were eliminated from the postseason in the NFL’s regular-season finale. The 2023 Packers will be cooked in November.”

Bears fans have dreamed for this Green Bay Packers outcome for years.

They’ve had some down seasons in the past, but everybody knew the organization would likely rebound since they still had a Hall of Fame quarterback under center. This time is different. Nothing about Love has indicated he’s the next all-time great for the green and gold. If he were, he would’ve already been starting last year. It was a major red flag when Green Bay chose to extend Rodgers rather than shift to the kid. That was the first indication the organization has reservations about his future.

Maybe he defies the odds. The Green Bay Packers do seem to have some ridiculous good luck. That said, Schein doesn’t think it will go that way. He feels a flawed roster that a great quarterback had long masked will finally be exposed. Chicago will have their chance to prove this on opening day when they host their rivals at Soldier Field. Justin Fields is eager to end his losing streak against them. This would be a great way to kick off a new era.

The Packers have literally owned the Bears for 2 generations. Ditka was our coach last time the Packers sucked.

It’ll be nice to see them at the bottom….as long as we aren’t next to them at the bottom in the standings
