Just over a week ago, former Washington Commanders quarterback Robert Griffin III stirred up both Chicago Bears fans and the media with a bold statement. RGIII suggested that Caleb Williams should follow in the footsteps of Eli Manning, who famously refused to play for the Chargers back in 2004, by declining to join the Chicago Bears.
“With everything that just happened with Justin Fields, can Caleb Williams really look at that and say, ‘This is the organization that has my best interest in heart and they are going to help develop me into the player I want to become.”
RGIII’s take on the Bears as a terrible destination for a quarterback generated significant backlash on social media. Many believe that the Bears might be the best landing spot ever for a quarterback select number one overall. However, Ryan Poles, the GM of the Chicago Bears, expressed his frustration with RGIII’s remarks, stating that he was angered upon hearing them on the Pat McAfee Show.
“It pisses me off a little bit to be honest with you because we were brought in to break a cycle.. I really believe we are about to break that cycle”

RGIII is a clown! He just wants the best QB on “his team” you know the one he had one good year for before blowing out his knee.
Sorry, but RGIII and Kyle Long are the same. Bobbleheads. RGIII shouldn’t talk about another franchise if he isn’t first willing to talk about his own, as well as his own career.
Kyle needs to get off the fence. Either be a fanboy or be a media guy. Sometimes the truth hurts, but don’t tell the world your opinion if you haven’t done any research at all beforehand.
Don’t kid yourself, TGena, Poles has a huge ass chip on his shoulder, buddy. The perception I get from him is he wants to manhandle the opponent.
