A lot of news dropped today regarding the Bears. Not only was it a good practice for the tight-ends and wide receivers but apparently Mitchell Trubisky is looking like a totally different player. Nagy was asked if Mitch had looked better so far in camp. He answered but also backed tracked rather quickly.
“Yeah so far I think so… we don’t have enough right now. I wish I could tell you (more)… There’s just not enough where were at. We need to see more.”
The Bears coaches normally give cliche answers so Nagy saying this definitely comes as a surprise. I get that he back tracked after he gave his original answer but what he said still holds value. Especially when other teammates back up what Nagy was alluding too.

Right after Nagy said this, Bears running back/swiss army knife Cordarrelle Patterson echoed similar praises for the fourth-year quarterback.
Obviously you have to take this stuff with a grain of salt but it’s also fun to imagine Mitchell Trubisky finally taking that next step in his career. We have a long way until the Bears likely announce the winner of the quarterback competition but I’ll be rooting for No. 10.
