Latest Justin Fields Report Could Force The Chicago Bears Hand

-

In the most recent episode of his podcast, “RG3 and The Ones,” former Washington Commanders quarterback Robert Griffin III had former Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall on the show. During the conversation, Griffin discussed the current quarterback situation of the Chicago Bears and specifically asked Marshall whether the team should keep Justin Fields. Marshall’s response was quite fascinating, and he followed it up with a question of his own.

“You think Justin Fields should keep the Chicago Bears?”

Marshall posed an intriguing question about Justin Fields possible desire for a new beginning. It is fair for Fields to doubt if the Bears can coach and develop him further, given the challenges he has faced in his initial three seasons in Chicago. RG3 supported Marshall’s stance, confirming that there could be individuals within Justin Fields’ circle who might desire a fresh start during this off-season.

“I agree with you. There is a little bit of Justin Fields camp that might not want to be in Chicago.”

The Bears QB decision might be pretty straightforward

If RG3’s statement holds any truth, the Bears are left with no option but to trade Fields to the highest bidder in the off-season. They must then take another chance on a rookie quarterback, crossing their fingers that they finally get it right.

However, the franchise’s history suggests that hitting the jackpot in this scenario is highly unlikely.
