One thing we’ve learned about NFL athletes is that they tend to send subtle messages on social media when something might be up. A tried and true way is by unfollowing their current team on their platform of choice, be it Twitter (X) or Instagram. It’s been done many times in recent years, including by some former Bears. Now, it appears Justin Fields is following the same route. With rumors surrounding his likely exit from the organization, he provided the first whisps of proof by apparently unfollowing the team on Instagram.
Fields is on that platform quite often for those who didn’t know. It’s his preferred one. So for him to unfollow the Bears had to have happened recently.
Now here is where the story might be taking an interesting turn. Conspiracy theorists might be interested in knowing that Fields follows three notable names: Kyle Pitts, Drake London, and Bijan Robinson. All three happen to be offensive players for the Atlanta Falcons, the team many projects as the best trade destination for Fields. Pitts is a friend of the quarterback from their time spent together before the 2021 draft. However, there are no discernable connections to Robinson or London.
Justin Fields may have tipped off what is coming.
It is hard to imagine the Bears already put together a trade with another team this quickly. Then again, Albert Breer of the MMQB revealed other teams approached them at the Senior Bowl. So, things are already in motion. There is a possibility Atlanta came forward with the most substantial offer. It makes sense. They have no clear starter at the position and might be sitting too far outside the necessary range to get somebody in the draft. Besides, Fields is a Georgia native. Bringing him home to play for the franchise that made his idol, Michael Vick, a star is a great story.

This could all be people jumping at shadows. It’s an open secret this is probably Justin Fields’ last weeks in Chicago. Every indication is that he will be traded, most likely by the middle of March. Atlanta makes the most sense. Others like Pittsburgh, New England, and Las Vegas may get involved as well. Ryan Poles is known for acting quickly once he gets an offer he likes. If Fields wants to go to Atlanta and they put up the picks he wants, this could happen fast.
For a small fee I would endorse Dude Wipes.
Yeah, David. I drive a Vespa.
@David you are misinformed. The product may say flushable but they are not. Do some research on the complications of wipes being flushed. 🤷🏽♂️
OMG…Is this shit for real? Do you even have any hard evidence that he was following the Bears to begin with? Maybe he was never following the Bears. Also, what about the other players around the NFL that he maybe following. Players develop friendships throughout the year and also throughout their careers. So this BS about whom he is following or not is really not necessary. Get a life man!
Yeah, pejorative!
