Matt Eberflus and the Chicago Bears coaching staff must feel like an army under siege from all sides. Fans and the media have turned on them, and the vitriol gets more vicious by the day. However, they aren’t alone anymore. Players have begun dropping not-so-subtle hints that this team’s situation is spiraling out of control. Cole Kmet, D.J. Moore, Jaylon Johnson, and D’Andre Swift have all spoken out about the team’s poor practice habits. Caleb Williams hasn’t even tried defending offensive coordinator Shane Waldron. Kevin Byard dodged an opportunity to deny coaches have lost the locker room. Now, it appears Jaquan Brisker has joined the chorus.
The Bears’ safety has been out for over a month with a concussion. Watching his team crumble after entering the bye week with so much momentum must have been agonizing for him. It appears he finally had something to say about it, posting a cryptic tweet on Monday morning.

Jaquan Brisker isn’t being subtle with that message.
One of the biggest criticisms of the Bears coaches has been their inability to adjust their thinking and approach to help correct the problems facing this team. That is why they get the same results every week. Eberflus seems stubborn in his approach, as does Waldron. They may view it as trying to be consistent, but doing something over and over that doesn’t work is the definition of insane. Jaquan Brisker has a unique perspective of being in the locker room but also watching at home because of his condition. He sees things from the same perspective as fans. It isn’t rocket science. Unless this staff is willing to alter their thinking, all of them will be out of a job by January. The safety has always been outspoken. This is another of his ways to get the message across.
