DJ Moore Weighs In On Pete Carroll Coaching Rumors

-

News broke on Christmas Day that former Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll is reportedly interested in the Chicago Bears head coaching position. The report has sent shockwaves through both the media and NFL landscapes. The Bears locker room has also caught wind of the news, and star wide receiver DJ Moore shared his thoughts during his weekly appearance on 670 The Score.

When asked directly about the possibility of Carroll leading the Bears, Moore responded:

“He’s respected, and he has done it at a high level. Everybody would have to pay attention and listen. Because he has done it already.”

Pete Carroll would create an immediate impact.

Moore’s assessment is spot on. If Carroll were to join Chicago, he would immediately command respect and instill a winning culture. His extensive experience, proven track record, and ability to assemble a strong coaching staff could lead to a swift turnaround for the Bears.

However, it remains to be seen whether the team will deviate from their rumored preference for an offensive-minded head coach this cycle. DJ Moore has publicly stated that he actually prefers an offensive-minded coach. He made this comment during an interview on December 17th with 670 The Score.

“An offensive-minded coach wcould take it to the next level but whoever comes in there has just gotta lead the men in the locker room.”

Despite a disappointing season and ongoing dysfunction at the organizational level, the Bears head coaching job is shaping up to be highly sought after. With Carroll potentially in the mix, there’s plenty of reason for optimism in Chicago’s future.
