DJ Moore Doesn’t Hold Back After Bizarre Question From Bears Reporter

-

The Chicago Bears didn’t just beat the Cleveland Browns on Sunday — they embarrassed them, rolling to a 31–3 victory and notching win No. 10 on the season. But despite the lopsided score and a statement performance from DJ Moore, a postgame exchange with a Bears beat reporter stole some attention for all the wrong reasons.

After catching two touchdown passes against Cleveland, Moore was asked whether he “needed a game like that,” referencing his lack of targets at times this season. Moore’s response was immediate and blunt.

“For what?” he replied.

When the reporter attempted to clarify, Moore cut in again, asking if a performance like that would “shut you all up,” clearly directing the comment at the media. The reporter responded with “perhaps,” prompting Moore to finish the exchange with, “It won’t shut ya’ll up.”

It was an awkward interaction — and honestly, a strange question to ask after such a dominant team win. The tone felt dismissive, almost as if Moore’s season somehow needed justification. That didn’t sit right, and Moore wasn’t going to let it slide.

In reality, Moore did “need” a game like this — not because he’s fallen off, but because he deserves it. He’s been one of the Bears most consistent and explosive playmakers, even when the targets haven’t always reflected his impact. Great receivers don’t suddenly stop being great because of a few quieter box scores.

Sunday was a reminder of who DJ Moore is: a difference-maker. Two touchdowns. A commanding win. And a message delivered — both on the field and in the locker room.

Sometimes, the best response is just letting your play do the talking. Moore did exactly that
