I said all along that I’ve been riding the fence on Justin Fields but now that debate is over. I have also said all along though that I’m not a big fan of Caleb Williams and preferred Daniels. It makes a lot of sense with what has transpired lately to trade number one to Washington but they would have to pay. Please stop whining about this trade. He set his market with his play. If he had been worth more he would have been part of the initial QB signing flurry..I wish him well, but an glad this is finally over….
I don’t see why everyone is upset. Poles could have let Fields go last year but didn’t. He gave him another chance to prove himself and he didn’t. I’m sure he was a great leader and locker room guy, but that didn’t translate on the field. It is what it is. I wish the pick was better, but Poles’ hands were tied.
