The 2025 NFL Draft is less than a week away, which means it’s time to drop my annual Chicago Bears Mock Draft 1.0. This will be a full seven-round projection, and as always with my first mock, there are no trades. I’m rolling with the picks the Bears currently hold and doing my best to predict what Ryan Poles and the front office might do, factoring in team needs, prospect fits, and how I see the board falling.
Let’s dive right in.
Round 1, Pick 10 – Ashton Jeanty, HB | Boise State
This might seem like a dream scenario, but Jeanty is that kind of player. He’s a generational talent at running back—explosive, elusive, and a legitimate three-down weapon. The Bears have already had a phenomenal offseason, so why not land one more game-changer to cap it off? Jeanty paired with Caleb Williams in a Ben Johnson offense? Yes, please.

Round 2, Pick 39 – Landon Jackson, EDGE | Arkansas
This could be considered a reach to some, but turn on the tape—particularly his reps against LSU’s Will Campbell. At 6’6” with length and a nonstop motor, Jackson brings size and tenacity to the defensive line. He fits the mold of what Dennis Allen loves in his edge rushers and could be a valuable rotational piece early on with starter potential down the line.

Round 2, Pick 41 – Donovan Jackson, T | Ohio State
Jackson is a versatile lineman who has experience at both left guard and left tackle. I project him best at tackle in the NFL, which could push Braxton Jones for the starting spot and give the Bears some much-needed depth and flexibility on the offensive line. If the Bears choose not to extend Jones down the line, Jackson could very well be the next man up.
Ohio State LT Donovan Jackson (📈) continues to be the unsung MVP for this team. Zero pressures allowed vs. UT.

Round 3, Pick 72 – Kevin Winston Jr., S | Penn State
Winston is a smart, physical safety who plays downhill and brings energy to the backend. While a knee injury may have impacted his draft stock, the tape still shows a guy who can fly around and make plays. At this point in the draft, it’s all about value, and Winston could develop into a quality starter with the right development.
Penn State S Kevin Winston Jr. has NEVER missed a tackle in his career and gets better in coverage every week.
At this rate, he’ll be a top 20 pick in 2025 👀 pic.twitter.com/oBMgqXaAHL

Round 5, Pick 148 – Ty Robinson, DI | Nebraska
Robinson is an older prospect—he’ll be 24 as a rookie—but brings five years starting experience and production to the table. He posted 42 total pressures and seven sacks last season, impressive for an interior lineman. In Round 5, that kind of production is worth betting on.

Round 7, Pick 233 – Samuel Brown, WR | Miami
Speed, speed, speed. The Bears still need it. Brown ran a 4.4 and has shown flashes of big-play potential. He could be a fun gadget player or vertical threat in this offense, especially with someone like Ben Johnson calling the plays.
Round 7, Pick 240 – Jalen Travis, T | Iowa State
Late-round tackle fliers are almost a tradition for Ryan Poles, and Travis fits that mold perfectly. Standing 6’8”, he’s a raw developmental prospect with intriguing tools. He’s the kind of player you stash on the roster and hope to mold into a depth piece or more.
Final Thoughts:
This mock gives the Bears help at multiple premium positions—RB, OL, EDGE, DB—while also sprinkling in some high-upside athletes in the later rounds. If things fall this way, Bears fans should be thrilled.
I am making a good salary from home $4580-$5240/week , which is amazing under a year ago I was jobless in a horrible economy. I thank God every day I was blessed with these instructions and now its my duty to pay it forward and share it with Everyone,

HC Ben likes 2 TE so I’ll trade your 10 for Warren.
4.4 Harvey at 148. Keep the rest.
After reading all of the negative anti-RB Jeanty propaganda, I support him now more than ever. I needed that rhetorical injection. I feel better about him.
In my opinion, Jeanty will be a bust. Here’s a few reasons why… 1) Short arms that FUMBLED 9 times in 2 years versus lousy competition! If you don’t see this as a legit concern, then you’re insane. Fumbling issues DO continue. RED FLAG #1! 2a) Big numbers versus the likes of GA Southern, San Jose St, SD St, Prairie State, and others. Only game against a top team (Penn St) and 0 TDs! If he’s “generational”, he should average more than 3.4 yards on 30 carries. Another RED FLAG #2! 2b) Did you know… All-Time NCAA Rushers over 2,000… Read more »
No way Jenty falls to 10. I see Poles moving up to take him in a trade with Jacksonville. He gambled on Odunze last year and won. I think Poles makes the move this time to get his guy at 5.
What happened to Winston Jr, did his stock fall over the course of the past year? The commenter on Twitter above is calling him a “Top 20 type pick”. This mock has him falling to #72?
