Caleb Williams Winning Over Bears Star Player

-

It was expected that there would be pushback within the Bears locker room after quarterback Justin Fields was traded. One of the most vocal critics was Bears Safety Jaquan Brisker. When the trade was announced, Brisker made his feelings clear on Twitter with a straightforward message: “Don’t talk to me,” which quickly gained attention online. However, there are now signs that Brisker may be starting to reconsider his stance. Recently, he liked a post by popular Barstool Sports podcaster and passionate Bears fan Big Cat, who suggested that Caleb Williams will be incredible for Bears.

Winning cures all.

The quickest path for Caleb Williams to earn respect in the locker room is by winning. If he can do this, his teammates are likely to accept him without little push back. The fact that Jaquan Brisker is already changing his stance for Williams likely indicates the potential he sees in him as a quarterback. It’s unclear whether it was Williams impressive Pro Day or Brisker reviewing his college tape that prompted this change. But Brisker was a strong supporter of Justin Fields, a close friend, and wanted to stand by him. You can’t knock that. However, now is the time to look ahead and embrace the hype of having Caleb Williams as the Bears rookie quarterback next season. It seems Brisker is finally starting to do just that.

Jones Fair enough, but I’ll point out that Pat Mahomes came from a draft whose QB class was mercilessly panned as weak and bad by every so-called expert, and the likes of Zach Wilson, Trey Lance, Mac Jones, Trevor Lawrence (who is not good), and, of course, Justin Fields all came from a draft whose QB class everybody said was “generational.”

At least we got it this year in a better draft. We got coach Prime point blank saying we are gonna pull an Eli for Shadeur and Travis Hunter. For all those that have said we should trade back and grab a QB in a weaker draft, the weaker QBs dad has already said he wouldn’t want his kid coming to Chicago before he point blank said in a podcast we are pulling an Eli with Shadeur. And we have people saying what they say about Caleb’s dad. It’s only going to get worse in this era.
