Fans don’t usually get much in the way of practice content this time of year. Sure, they get the obligatory highlight videos, but nothing that may offer an idea of how the team is progressing. That has been the team’s approach for years. Caleb Williams has adhered chiefly to that formula since arriving as the team’s quarterback last season. However, he occasionally veers away from it to drop nuggets here and there for fans to digest. The quarterback was at it again when he shared a fascinating picture on Instagram.
At first glance, it looks like nothing more than a typical photo of him throwing a pass. Upon closer inspection, though, you notice some important details. One is center Drew Dalman, the Bears’ recent addition, standing up defensive tackle Andrew Billings. Williams hangs in the pocket and fires a missile over the middle in stride to what appears to be Olamide Zaccheaus. Firing a pass over the middle on target with the pocket squeezing in on you is what professional quarterbacks are expected to do.
Williams shows that he can do this with this picture.

Caleb Williams appears ahead of schedule.
Reports from OTAs and minicamps illustrate a young quarterback who is absorbing the new offense at a rapid pace. Head coach Ben Johnson grills him constantly, ensuring he sticks to the details. Meanwhile, veteran backup Case Keenum is said to be an excellent tutor, quickly building a strong bond with the 23-year-old. While mistakes happen every practice, Caleb Williams hasn’t let that stop him from taking big steps forward. Executing a 94-yard drive for a touchdown was not something the offense would’ve accomplished this early last year. It is too early to declare anything for the 2025 season. There is plenty of proving to do. Still, little glimpses like this offer hope.

@FootballAtArlington1 When they play the Pledge of Allegiance before football games, would a “Liberal” stand up, remove his hat, and place his hand on his heart, while in the comfort of his own home? Would a “Liberal” spend four hours per day supporting the Troops?
I thought not.
Insider Reveals Uber Talented Caleb Williams Is Already Getting Shafted By New Coaching Staff It does seem a little early for a falling out between presumably QB1 Caleb Williams and new head coach/ offensive Wizard Ben Johnson but indications are that’s exactly what has happened. The one thing we know for sure is that anything, ANYTHING, is possible where the Chicago Bears are involved. According to Jordan Sigler of ChiCitySports the new head coach and his staff have made a conscious effort to deprive Williams of the knowledge and support he needs to become a top tier NFL quarterback. Barry sounds like a libtard.
Nice try, Erik. Next time you try to write a post specifically to trigger @Bears57 and I, just know that I, for one, cannot be triggered.
Your guy on here Barry believes in freedom of speech, and if Caleb wants to spend his time putting his own camp highlights into a personal reel and share it on his Instagram, then that’s exactly what he should do.
I am fine with my team employing as QB1 a social media influencer who also plays football. FINE with it. END of discussion.
Its hard to imagine being a QB who’s around 6 ft tall and throwing over guys who are up to like 6’6. I guess that’s why they get paid the big bucks. Still it’s pretty crazy when guys like Kyler Murray can even see who they’re throwing the ball too lol.
