Caleb Williams’ Competitiveness Reportedly Described As “Psychotic”

-

Championship quarterbacks always come in different shapes and sizes. Some are massive, pocket-oriented guys like Peyton Manning. Others are elusive playmakers like John Elway and Steve Young. There is more than one way to be successful in the NFL at that position. Yet one common thread exists between those who raise the Lombardi trophy. They are maniacal competitors. The thought of losing games makes them physically ill. Nothing else they do in life matters. It is only about winning. Chicago fans remember this mentality from guys like Michael Jordan and Jonathan Toews. Apparently, they’re about to add another to that list in Caleb Williams.

A recent interview with the Pivot Podcast confirmed a lot of rumors about the USC quarterbacks. Teammates and coaches had been telling reporters for months that Williams is as competitive as anybody they’ve ever met. That isn’t just in football. He gets heated in everything: video games, cards, trivia, etc. His podcast appearance showcased this more than ever before. Williams didn’t hold back on his feelings. He isn’t afraid to say he holds grudges. When he encounters opponents he feels have wronged him; he’ll use it as motivation while letting them hear about it.

Brett Kollman of Bootleg Football has followed USC closely, revealing some interesting details on the young quarterback. He is certain beyond a doubt Williams has that same mentality that made Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes so relentless.

Caleb Williams’ competitive streak is represented in his play.

He posted a record of 23-10 over three years as a starter. What is crazy is that six of those losses came despite the offense scoring 27 points or more. Mahomes had 12 such instances. When a team is losing despite scoring that much, it is clear the quarterback is doing everything in his power to achieve victory. He can’t play defense too. That is the sad reality of it being a team sport. The fact Williams kept the Trojans in so many games is a testament to his ability to carry the team on his back.

Subscribe to the BFR podcast and ride shotgun with Dave and Ficky as they break down Bears football like nobody else.

This is something the kid has prepared for since he was ten years old. Great players want that responsibility. They want that pressure. It is how they measure how great they can be. Caleb Williams isn’t satisfied with being the #1 pick of the draft. That goal is about to be over. The only milestone left in his mind is winning championships. It is all about chasing Brady’s record. Yeah, Mahomes and other great quarterbacks will be in the way. It doesn’t matter. Taking them down is all part of the mission.

Step in his way and get ready for consequences.

Just a coincidence that one of my fave psychedelic songs is “Psychotic Reaction” so I think it might be a good sign. So, just say “yes” to Caleb and his incessant drive to be the ultimate winner, regardless.

Many extremely successful people are psychopathic in every sector of society. Those people are into winning what they desire regardless of what they do to other people. Psychotic or psychoses are different traits. Now, let’s think about narcissism.

Now I need a Caleb Williams T-Shirt that says “Kick Rocks”.

Whomever makes it first, it will be what they call “A Money Maker”. 💲💲
