Bears vs Raiders: 6 Bold Predictions Including Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze

-

The Chicago Bears are looking to get back to .500 on the season as they take on the Las Vegas Raiders in another 3:25 matchup. Here are some bold predictions, along with my final score pick.

Caleb Williams stays hot

I’m not going to throw stats on this one, but I just feel like Williams puts together another strong performance—this time on the road. Something has clearly clicked between him and Ben Johnson, and they’re starting to build real momentum. No better time to keep it rolling with the bye week coming after Las Vegas. Getting to 2-2 would be huge.

Rome Odunze goes for 100+ yards

Subscribe to the BFR Youtube channel and ride shotgun with Dave and Ficky as they break down Bears football like nobody else.

Yeah, I think Rome has another big outing. This time, he cracks the 100-yard mark.

Bears defense wins the turnover battle

Last week, the defense thrived on turnovers against Dak Prescott. Expect them to do it again versus the Raiders. With the pass rush still lacking, they’ll need to lean on creating takeaways to even things out.

Ben Johnson dials up another trick play

I think we see another wrinkle this week—maybe even a pass to Caleb Williams. He’s been catching passes in practice, so don’t be shocked if it shows up in the game plan.

Luther Burden makes a splash on special teams

Burden’s opening kick return last week didn’t go as planned, and he admitted to being hard on himself, according to special teams coach Richard Hightower. I expect him to bounce back with a big return this time around.

Tremaine Edmunds nabs another pick

He had two interceptions last week, but I’m calling for another one. Edmunds needs to keep building momentum and not go long stretches without making plays. The confidence is there—I think he cashes in again.

Final Score Prediction:

Bears 23, Raiders 21.

This one will be close, but the Bears need it badly. If they can stop the run, force turnovers, and keep the offense clicking, I think they’ll grind out a win.

@Krisanthony McVay has done wonders for multiple players, but the reason (I think) he made the trade of Goff for Stafford, was that he coincidentally met Stafford on vacation, and they talked. McVay felt that he had a window that would be better served by Stafford than Goff – at their stage of development. Stafford was spending too much time in Detroit, and could see a few more years of development in the team, before he got a chance. Time is everything. Both Stafford, McVay, Goff, Holmes and Campbell were right. Goff got another two years to develop without the… Read more »

Prediction: Roschon Johnson gashes the Raiders for 100+. (I didn’t see him on the injury report).
Prediction 2: Travis Homer breaks out.

I’ve stopped counting how many posters here are not satisfied with Williams. From legit complaints like sacks taken to inaccuracy at times to the surreal garbage like he has dyslexia (brought by the “expert” Tyler Dunn.). Then the overplayed tropes that most black QBs have to deal with like he has difficulty understanding to he doesn’t work hard enough to being a prima Donna. It’s been disgusting and disappointing to see. All he has been quilts of is being a young QB in Chicago. The hell hole for any QB. Let me share a couple stat lines Since Bears played… Read more »
