Bears Player’s Off-Season Weight Gain Raises Eyebrows

-

Yes, we are at that point in the NFL off-season: the draft is behind us, but training camp is still a couple months away. As the Chicago Bears complete day two of their mandatory mini-camp, the media is getting a fresh look at the players around Halas Hall, both on the field and off it.

Rome Odunze’s Off-Season Progress

One notable player drawing attention is second-year wide receiver Rome Odunze. It’s clear he’s dedicated significant time and energy to the weight room over the past few months.

Odunze’s Transformation

In a recent video posted by the Chicago Bears social media team, players showed off their fits in front of the camera for media day. Among them was Rome Odunze, who noticeably looks bulkier than he did last season.

A Potential Year-Two Leap

ESPN listed Odunze at 6’3″ and 215 pounds during his rookie year, but it will be interesting to see what his playing weight is heading into his second season. The former first-round pick finished his rookie campaign with 54 receptions for 734 yards and 3 touchdowns. With added muscle and experience, Odunze is poised to make a significant leap in year two, potentially boosting his already impressive ability to win contested catches and contribute more consistently to the Bears offense. The sky is the limit for Odunze as he enters his first year with new Bears head coach Ben Johnson.

Also note that wearing dark colours and uniforms make you look slimmer than the white ones. For more fashion tips, just contact me.

Uno might just end up being good enough to save Pole’s job. He’s actual talent.

I weighed 200 and benched 400. I never tried or needed to go beyond the 400. 44-46″ chest with naturally broad shoulders was large enough.

Nurse silly you couldn’t bench 400 pounds if your life depended on it

Remember: muscle weighs more than fat. And don’t forget to stretch the groin before any activity. I used to alternate benching 400 lbs. 6-12x with my first wife sitting on me to provide stability during any chaos or blood pressure eruption. Otherwise, I hated lifting weights.
