Bears Have Four First Team AP All-Pro Selections

-

Expectations going into this season for the Chicago Bears were not exactly sky-high…

As a team that had missed the playoffs for the last 8 seasons, the city of Chicago was at least hoping to see that streak snapped.

Well, it’s now January and the Bears are two days away from playing in the Wild Card round against the defending Super Bowl champions. Needless to say, the Bears have exceeded expectations.

Now, the news keeps getting better and better for Bears fans…

Four Bears Players Have Earned First Team All-Pro Honors

No one from the offensive side of the ball made it for first-team honors, but the Bears cleaned up on the defensive side.

Khalil Mack, Kyle Fuller and Eddie Jackson all were selected for the incredible honor. Meanwhile, Tarik Cohen earned the honor for his punt returning abilities.

Mack dominated all season and finished with 12.5 Sacks, 10 TFL and 6 Forced Fumbles in 13 games. Kyle Fuller finished with 55 total tackles, 7 Interceptions and 21 Passes Defended. Meanwhile, Eddie Jackson finished with 51 total tackles, 6 Interceptions and 2 Defensive Touchdowns.

The Bears defense dominated all season long in large part to these three individuals.

No matter what the outcome is on Sunday against the Eagles, the future is incredibly bright for the Chicago Bears.

Bear Down.
