There are legitimate concerns about Bears running back D’Andre Swift potentially being out, especially after his breakout performance last week against the Washington Commanders. However, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Friday evening that the Bears expect both WR DJ Moore and RB D’Andre Swift to play against the Saints. Having Moore available is huge—his toughness often goes underappreciated—but the news on Swift is even bigger. His presence should make it much easier for Chicago to establish the run game as they look to win their fourth straight.
