A lot of people take joy in making fun of what it means to be a Chicago Bears fan. Saturday Night Live did that for years back in the 1980s. We were type cast as overweight slobs who constantly said “da” instead of “the.” The joke was on them of course. Bears fans embraced the hate and “Da Bears” became their rallying cry ever since. In truth for the most part the people are no different than the average folk.
They’re passionate, loyal, demanding and better educated than many realize. Okay well most of them are. At least one gentleman decided that playing a prank on his college class room was more important than getting an actual education. Truth be told though the man deserves all sorts of praise for having the guts to do this.
It’s unclear which college this takes place at but one thing is known for sure. The guy was an uncompromising Bears fan. He walked right into the middle of class dawning a snappy navy blue Mitch Trubisky jersey. Stopping in the front he doesn’t even wait to allow people to process what’s happening and does the most college (and Chicago) thing ever.

Given from what he said this took place shortly before the Bears played Baltimore last Sunday. The shotgunning of the beer alone is pure gold, but the icing on the cake had to be him slamming the empty can on his head before walking out the door. Given Chicago won as result, you know what that means.
He has to do this every week until they lose. We approve this 100%.
