I believe its common for fans to forget that athletes are humans just like us. Although most will bite their tongue and rarely respond to comments/trolls.. some don’t. Which can make for amazing content to consume. The latest example of this happens to be with Bears defensive tackle Justin Jones who already sounded off a few weeks back declaring his distaste for Packers fans. Today’s online altercation occurred out of no where. Jones was simply showing love to Bears defensive tackle Gervon Dexter Sr. and hyping him up with a quote tweet. Seemed harmless but of course there is always that one person in the comments that will do their best to garner a reaction. Safe to say, he got it.
All in all, this is just a refreshing response to see on the timeline. Most athletes stay off Twitter altogether due to these exact comments. Justin Fields actually deleted the app back in March and hasn’t regretted it since. But it’s these interactions that make it all worth while.

We are a couple weeks out from training camp and sort of in the dead time where not a lot is happening right now. So if the only content we get is Justin Jones dunking on fans that root for that team in Wisconsin, I’ll take it.
Week one can’t come soon enough.
