Aaron Rodgers Reveals Best Moment He’s Had Playing Against The Bears

-

Well, the boys over at Pardon My Take finally did it. The long-awaited guest appearance of Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has arrived. PFT and Big Cat did not disappoint either. They both held their ground, especially Big Cat, who has notoriously (and bravely) gone to bat for all Bears fans regarding the feud between opposing fans and the one-time NFC championship winner Aaron Rodgers. The interview was simply awesome and had a lot of interesting segments. One of the best/worst (depending on which team you are a fan of) was Big Cat asking Rodgers his all-time favorite moment against the Bears. Rodger’s answer is one you might have expected if you are a Bears fan.

“Probably 2013. Only because I came back from my collarbone, Randall (Cobb) came back from his knee injury. Somehow it was for the division. You know after so many things happened for us to be in it.. but that last One (GAME-WINNING TD pass To Cobb) was pretty amazing.”

If you don’t know what play Rodger’s is referring to it’s the blown coverage in week 17 in 2013 by Bears safety Chris Conte. The outcome of this game had big ramifications as the winner would win the NFC North crown. Green Bay obviously came out on top and will forever be one of the more painful losses that Bears fans had to endure.

Is It The Worst Moment For Bears Fans Though?

Yeah, the Conte blown coverage will always be brutal to think about. But I am not sure I’d consider this the worst moment involving Rodgers and the Bears. Obviously, for Aaron, I get why he’d choose this one. You’re in Chicago. Division on the line. 4th and 8. Essentially at mid-field. And you throw a game winning TD pass.

Cold blooded. Adrenaline had to be at an all-time high.

Subscribe to the BFR podcast and ride shotgun with Dave and Ficky as they break down Bears football like nobody else.

However, for me as a fan. I think the NFC Championship loss in 2011 hurt more. The Bears had a good shot to win it all that season. Then Jay got hurt. Throw in the body language on the sideline. Overall, it was just a demoralizing loss. But to top it off and make things even worse, the Packers ended up winning the whole damn thing. Even if the Conte play doesn’t happen and the Bears win the division, are we sure that team gets to the Super Bowl let alone the NFC Championship?

I have my doubts. But the 2011 team had a very good opportunity and if Cutler doesn’t get hurt who knows how that game truly plays out. But shoutout again to the team at Pardon My Take for putting together a great interview that is both funny and entertaining. I will link the episode below so you all can check it out. I promise it is not all about reliving bad memories as a Bears fan. Lots of jokes and banter. Highly recommend watching it if you have the time.

The prima donna from GB is 9-10 in the playoffs. Talk about choking!! This is why the MVP should be chosen after the playoffs, not before.

Next to the NFC championship game where Cutler was knocked out of the game with a sprained MCL, I’d say in 84’ where Walter Payton was QB.
