3 Bold Predictions For Sunday’s Bears vs Buccaneers Game

-

Week 2 has arrived, and it feels like it’s been a long one, especially after the Packers had a big win over the Bears. I was quite hopeful before the Packers game, but now I might have to dial it back on some of my bold predictions. So, let’s get straight to it.

Justin Fields Bounces Back

This prediction for Sunday may seem quite bold, depending on your opinion of Justin Fields. However, it’s worth noting that Fields rarely performs poorly in consecutive games. With that in mind, I anticipate that Justin and the offense will rebound. I’m not expecting an extraordinary performance, but I predict he’ll end up with around 225 passing yards, 55 rushing yards, and 2 touchdowns. If he can achieve this while leading the Bears to a victory in Tampa, it might help alleviate some of the anxiety among fans.

The Bears Defense Gets Multiple Takeaways

Matt Eberflus will take over the defensive play-calling duties because Defensive Coordinator, Alan Williams, won’t be traveling with them due to a personal issue. I hope everything is fine with Williams and his family, but it will be intriguing to see if there’s any change in the team’s performance with Eberflus in charge, as he did in Indianapolis.

I believe the defense will perform better and get pressure on Baker Mayfield. I’m predicting they’ll force three turnovers.

DJ Moore Goes Over 100+ Yards

DJ Moore had a slow start with the Bears in his debut. Nevertheless, Justin has expressed his intention to prioritize getting DJ more targets in week 2. The success of this plan relies on Fields making the correct reads and throwing it to DJ more often. I have confidence that Moore will total over 100+ yards on Sunday.
