While the Bears themselves may not be in playoff contention, a win at Lambeau Field could prevent the Packers from advancing to the playoffs. It’s worth noting that the Bears haven’t a won in Green Bay since 2015. With that in mind, here are three bold predictions for Sunday’s game.
The Bears defense forces three turnovers
The Bears defense has excelled in creating turnovers, currently leading the NFL with 22 interceptions. While Jordan Love, has a relatively low interception count (11 on the season, 3rd lowest in NFL), creating opportunities for fumbles might be key. However, to secure a win, the Bears must focus on winning the turnover battle. My prediction is Tyrique Stevenson has one pick and one forced fumble. Montez Sweat adds a strip sack.
Justin Fields scores a 50+ TD run
A year ago, making a prediction like this wouldn’t have seemed bold. However, this season, Fields has been somewhat kept in check as far as big gains go with his running ability. His longest run, was a 39-yarder, that occurred in week 16 against the Cardinals. The Packers defense, led by struggling defensive coordinator Joe Berry, has had its share of challenges this season. Lambeau might provide the perfect opportunity for Justin to break free for his longest run of the season, and perhaps, he could even celebrate with Aaron Rodgers famous “discount double check” move to antagonize the crowd.
Jaylon Johnson will play on Sunday.
The Bears issued their injury report for Friday, indicating that Jaylon Johnson is doubtful for the upcoming game.

Although Johnson didn’t practice this week, he expressed during his weekly radio appearance on Parkins & Spiegel Show that he anticipates playing and not sitting out against Green Bay. However, the Bears medical staff might have a different perspective and could decide to sit him if he isn’t fit to play on Sunday. Despite this, my gut says that Johnson will likely find a way to play in this game.

I’ve decided not to pick the Bears until they actually find a way to beat Green Bay. I guess I’m still shook from that week 1 loss. But I’m hoping that by saying this, I might somehow make this a reverse jinx situation.
