ESPN Blueprints How The Raiders Land Jadeveon Clowney, Matt Stafford

As the 2019 NFL Draft approaches, it's time for some of the experts to start playing a little "Imagination Land" with potential scenarios. One such scenario ESPN's Bill Barnwell proposed was the Raiders trading their 24th pick they obtained in the Khalil Mack trade last year as well as a fifth-rounder to the Houston Texans for defensive end Jadeveon Clowney.

VIDEO — Las Vegas Ballpark Shines In Opening Night Debut

The first-ever ballgame at the Las Vegas Ballpark in Downtown Summerlin is in the books, and what a night it was. From celebrity sightings to an airborne, jet-packed mascot all the way down to what seemed like hurricane-force winds, the night was a spectacle worthy of Sin City.

Aces Look For Another Franchise Player With First Overall Pick In WNBA Draft

When Las Vegas Aces general manager and head coach Bill Laimbeer headed to the 2018 WNBA Draft last year, there was no question in his mind who he'd be selecting with the first overall pick — standout forward A'Ja Wilson. It worked out well. Wilson won Rookie of the Year honors and became the face of the WNBA while the team missed the playoffs by one game. Delayed Flight: New Las Vegas Ballpark Nearly 20 Years In The Making

More than 15 years ago, I sat in Las Vegas Aviators owner Don Logan's office and listened to him excitedly lay out his plans for the then-Las Vegas 51s' expected move to Henderson. Not even weeks later, I saw the positive tone in Logan's voice go from optimistic to downtrodden as the Montreal Expos-to-Vegas rumors effectively put negotiations on hold, where they would die a slow death. Now, nearly two decades later, Logan will survey the inaugural Opening Night at the new Las Vegas Ballpark in Summerlin as the Las Vegas Aviators open 2019 in their new home.

FaceLiftoff! Inaugural Las Vegas Aviators Season Set To Take Flight

Please fasten your seatbelts and return your tray table to its full upright and locked position because the Las Vegas Aviators are set to take flight this week in their inaugural season. Formerly the Las Vegas 51s, the Aviators enter the 2019 season in a new home as well, shedding Cashman Field for the Las Vegas Ballpark in Summerlin.

BREAKING: UNLV Basketball To Hire South Dakota State Coach T.J. Otzelberger As New Head Coach

Almost 12 days after firing former UNLV head coach Marvin Menzies, UNLV's athletic department has found its man. South Dakota State coach T.J. Otzelberger will be named the new skipper for the Runnin' Rebels basketball program, according to multiple reports. The decision was made by UNLV athletic director Denise Reed-Francois, who came to the conclusion with the help of Fogler Consulting.

The Leftovers: Only Eight Of UNLV’s Fifteen Basketball Players Have Not Entered NCAA Transfer Portal

When UNLV athletic director Dr. Denise Reed-Francois announced the firing of former basketball coach Marvin Menzies, the program's roster featured 15 players set to return — including medical redshirt senior Shakur Juiston, who missed most of the 2018-19 season with a knee injury. Since the firing, UNLV's once proud basketball program has been hit with a "rapture" of its own. All but eight currently remain in the program now that seven have entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, leaving UNLV and its yet-to-be-determined new head coach a shell of its former self.
