Tonight will be about much more than hockey. The Blackhawks face off against the Minnesota Wild as they host Hockey Fights Cancer night at the United Center. Eddie Olczyk will also be honored tonight with "One More Shift".

Tonight, was a low-scoring throwback hockey matchup between the Blackhawks and the Blues. The Blackhawks came out on top in a 1-0 win at home. Good special teams play, solid team defense, and a shutout from Corey Crawford was the recipe for success.

Tonight, the Carolina Hurricanes honored former goalie, Cam Ward, during the 1st period of the game. Cam Ward was visibly emotional as he raised his hand to thank the fans.

Eddie Olczyk finally had enough and he let the Blackhawks know it. The power play has been struggling for years and Eddie reached his breaking point. I loved hearing his honesty all game and I especially loved this rant about the Blackhawks' power play during the post-game show.

Earlier today, the Blackhawks announced that they plan to reveal the 2019 Winter Classic uniform tomorrow at 5:30 PM.

Today, a substantial shockwave was sent through Chicago and the NHL. The Blackhawks have fired the legendary Joel Quenneville and replaced him with Jeremy Colliton.

Earlier today, Adidas Hockey released the Digital 6 series alternate uniforms. They collaborated with EA Sports to create bold, futuristic jersey concepts for the Blackhawks and the other Original 6 NHL teams.

Jonathan Toews scored his 300th goal tonight against the Calgary Flames. Of course, he did it in classic Toews fashion as he powered his way through traffic.
