I will definitely be tuning in to watch the Chicago Bears face off against the Las Vegas Raiders this Sunday. And I wish I was kidding.
With that in mind, here are my three bold predictions for the game.
Tyson Bagent Passes For 300+ yards
I had some predictions on my mind, and strangely, this was the very first one that came to me. It might sound a bit crazy, but I’m going to stand by it. You can laugh at me later if it doesn’t come true. I mean, can a D2 product with very limited NFL experience really achieve something that Justin Fields has only accomplished once in over 20+ starts?
No way, right?

The Bears force 3 turnovers
The Bears defense is slowly recovering from all their injuries early on in the season. Nonetheless, given that the Raiders are starting Brian Hoyer, I anticipate that opportunities for turnovers are very likely going to be there for the Bears defense. The defense performed well last week against the Vikings, so I anticipate they build on that. They could play a pivotal role in helping the Bears steal a win. This brings me to my final bold prediction…
Bears find a way to win
In some way or another, Tyson Bagent will manage to secure his first NFL win in his first career start. I can already envision the overreactions and headlines. However, if Justin Fields was able to start in this game, I’d also feel comfortable picking him to somehow win this. I believe the Raiders are beatable, and this matchup appears highly unpredictable. It almost seems as if a Bears win would also be a disappointment. It’s sad to admit this, but at the moment, prioritizing the first and second overall picks in the 2024 draft seems to be the franchise’s biggest concern from a long-term perspective.
