Khalil Mack is a monster. Everybody who follows the Chicago Bears already knew this. Yet it seemed like a lot of people in the national media needed a reminder. So on Thursday Night Football against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he decided to send a message. This was done by making Tom Brady’s night a living hell.
This included two sacks, a third that was waved off due to a penalty, and three other hits on the Hall of Fame quarterback. Mack was a doomsday device the entire night. Yet by far the best moment came in the second half. Mack powered through rookie Bucs tackle Tristan Wirfs to sack Brady. When Wirfs didn’t get off him after the play, the Bears star hooked the rookie under one arm and literally hip-tossed him to the ground.
That play got a boatload of reactions on social media. It was a move that would’ve made Ric Flair or Stone Cold Steve Austin proud. In fact, it seems the WWE took notice of it too. Just 24 hours later on their Smackdown show, airing on FOX which also had that Bears game, the announcers gave a shoutout to Mack during a match between the New Day and the team of Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro.
Khalil Mack again demonstrates his unnatural power
It’s hard for people to grasp how incredibly strong Mack is. Remember he’s only 6’2 and around 260-270 lbs. Wirfs was not only taller but also at least 50 lbs heavier. For Mack to ragdoll him to the ground like that is a perfect example of his freakish strength. It’s why the Bears traded for him two years ago and why he will likely end up in the Hall of Fame one day.

Maybe after he hangs it up, he can venture into the world of professional wrestling. There is no question people would buy him as a WWE superstar without a second thought. It would also be a total thrill to see him with a microphone in his hand delivering promos.
