The Chicago Bears aren’t strangers to getting trolled by fans, both local and abroad. That’s just the nature of the sport. What does stand out is some of the creative ways these people go about their jabs. It isn’t just reserved for social media or billboards. One person took it to a brilliant level. A Bears fan was perusing a store for beer and came across a can of Hop Butcher. For those who don’t know, it’s a company based out of Darien, Illinois.
In the past week or so, speculation has been rampant about what future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady will do following a disappointing end to 2019. One that saw his New England Patriots eliminated in the wild card round. At age 42, he’s about to become a free agent and made it clear he has no plans to retire. Some believe there is a legitimate chance he might play somewhere else in 2020. Hence why speculation is rampant that the Bears might have an opportunity if they’re willing to pay.
Apparently one pessimistic fan wasn’t buying that idea and made his/her thoughts known on the bottom of a Hop Butcher beer can.
