Chicago Bears Will Have 3 Players in the Pro Bowl This Year

-

The Chicago Bears didn’t get the season result they wanted in 2019, having wasted too many opportunities in October and November. However, this doesn’t mean the team lacked their bright spots. In fact, they had several of them. Individual standouts who went about their business successfully. With two weeks left in the season, the NFL announced its members of the 2020 Pro Bowl rosters. The Bears ended up having three players make the cut.

First was start pass rusher Khalil Mack. While his sack total is down from 2018, his presence has remained as effective as ever. Safety Eddie Jackson didn’t put up the interception numbers he had last year either, but his all-around game improved significantly and it’s nice to see that people took notice. Probably the easiest addition was Cordarrelle Patterson. He was arguably the best special teams player in the entire NFL for this season. Not only did he rank near the top in kick return average, he was also a superb gunner on coverage units.

In addition to this, the Bears also saw three more names become alternates. They were defensive tackle Eddie Goldman, cornerback Kyle Fuller, and punt returner Tarik Cohen. The biggest absentee from either of those lists though has to be wide receiver Allen Robinson who went over 1,000 yards in just 14 games. An absolute stud in an otherwise bad passing game.
