It would seem that Khalil Mack hasn’t been in the most festive mood lately. Being part of a four-game losing streak can have that effect. Even so, it seems his dour disposition has led to some rather unfortunate decisions off the field. Nothing of the criminal variety of course. More like things that makes one go, “Wow, that’s kind of mean.” A perfect example took place back on Halloween last week.
SportsGossip.com happened to have people go by Mack’s house on a snow-covered afternoon expecting to get a glimpse of the star pass rusher handing out candy to trick or treaters. As they got closer though, it became apparent they would be disappointed. Not only did Mack refuse to even leave a gigantic bowl of candy for kids to pluck from. He even placed a security guard at his front gate to tell people to move along.
Look, Khalil, we understand you’re frustrated. So is everyone else but that’s no reason to take it out on the kids. There are better ways to keep people from coming up to your door on Halloween than posting a security guard. Alas, if he’s like this for such a fun holiday one can only imagine what he might be like for Christmas. Hopefully he’s not like this when the Bears win too.
