Mitch Trubisky Predicts Bears Go All The Way This Year

-

It’s no secret that Mitch Trubisky is a confident young man. He has a firm belief in himself and his teammates. That is why he has already had a significant degree of success with the Chicago Bears over the past two years. He accounted for 27 touchdowns in 2018, went to a Pro Bowl, and went 11-3 as the starter. So one can imagine his expectations for 2019 are high.

How high though? He hasn’t made any proclamations to this point. Only saying the plans are for the team to be back in the playoffs this season. However, in a moment of weakness (or bravado) he decided to shoot his shot. During a meet-and-greet with fans at a Gone Rogue chips event, he received the big question from Ra-cool (@raul_lito95).

Keep in mind he wasn’t asked if the Bears would win a championship. Only what their record for 2019 would be. Trubisky didn’t seem to mind. He made it crystal clear where his expectations are set.

A lot of notable experts don’t see it that way. Most record predictions thus far have the Bears finishing somewhere along the lines of 7-9 or 8-8. A significant step back from last season. This is likely due to their tougher schedule (on paper) along with the believed improvement of the rest of the NFC North division. Not to mention injury risks.

Does Mitch Trubisky care about all of that? No he does not. He has unwavering belief in his team and isn’t going to let outside expectations change what their own should be. This team is capable of winning a championship. All they have to do is go out there and take it. Nobody is going to give it to them.
