The Chicago Bears have been shut out of the Pro Bowl for quite some time the past couple of years. That’s not surprising. When a team wins just 19 games across a four-season span from 2014 to 2017? It’s little wonder the voters aren’t giving much of their love and attention to this franchise. However, it seems that’s finally changing.
With five weeks left to go in the 2018 season, it seems the attention is finally getting back to Chicago. According to the latest polling data, the NFC Pro Bowl lineup could end up being well-represented by navy blue and orange. No fewer than four members of the Bears roster are currently leading vote-getters are their respective positions.
This includes star pass rusher Khalil Mack, safety Eddie Jackson, cornerback Kyle Fuller, and running back Tarik Cohen who’s in as a return specialist.

Subscribe to the BFR Youtube channel and ride shotgun with Dave and Ficky as they break down Bears football like nobody else.
Each of those honors is completely earned on the part of the players. Mack has eight sacks on the season despite missing two games and playing two others on a bad ankle. Fuller leads all cornerbacks with five interceptions and Jackson leads the NFL with three defensive touchdowns. Cohen has 322 punt return yards this year, along with 788 yards from scrimmage on offense.
This group has been a huge driving force for the team’s success this season. Seeing them break the streak of no Pro Bowl participants is something Bears fans should get to enjoy not just this year but for years to come. Hopefully with others like Akiem Hicks and Danny Trevathan joining them.
