Well, it didn’t take very long. Former Blackhawks head coach, Joel Quenneville, was hired by the Philadelphia Flyers today.

The Flyers are currently sitting at the bottom of the Metropolitan division with a 12-15-4 record, so the firing of Hakstol is entirely justified. Many are surprised that the firing didn’t come sooner than it did.
Coach Q will come in and immediately provide a morale boost, and also, help the Flyers establish a winning culture. I mean, after all, Quenneville is the 2nd winningest coach in the NHL for a reason and has the resume to back it up.
