PointsBet Lines On Bears Vs. Lions With $1500 In Risk-Free Bets

-

Will the Chicago Bears be able to get back into the win column, following up five straight losses? No one knows what kind of team will take the field for the Detroit Lions, but as for the Bears, it’s pretty they will come out like they always do.

That’s why PointsBet is offering you a chance to bet the best lines on the Bears this week, in hopes to bring the division rivalry right into your living room.

Opening Lines Bears vs. Lions

Point Spread (-3)

Entering Sunday’s contest, the Bears (-3) are three-point favorites at Soldier Field. In the Matt Nagy era, the Bears have never lost to the Lions. However, Detroit made coaching and GM changes following their Thanksgiving Day embarrassment. Former Lions Head Coach Matt Patricia, to the joy and relief of many current players, was fired after going 13-29.

Could this be a shot in the arm for the 4-6 Lions?

They can use all of the help and motivation they can get, as their number one wide receiver Kenny Golladay will miss another game with his nagging hip injury. Their first-round draft pick CB Jeff Okudah will miss another week too, something Mitch Trubisky should be thrilled over.

As far as the Bears go, they are healthy on offense. Defensively, Khalil Mack was limited in practice all week with a back injury. He was non-existent against the Packers on Sunday Night Football, as the Bears defense as a whole totaled zero QB hits on Aaron Rodgers.

If Mack doesn’t play and Akiem Hicks remains out with his hamstring injury, it could be one of the worst games of the NFL season. Both teams are not very good as is, but with injuries mounting at key positions it could become a toss-up.

The Bears are 5-6 ATS this season and the Lions are 4-6.

Over/Under (45)

When these two teams met in week one, the Bears won 27-23. A few things to keep if wagering on the over/under is the health status of Matthew Stafford and Allen Robinson. Both are listed as questionable, but I would expect both to start Sunday. Stafford has been bothered by a thumb injury the last few weeks, and Robinson banged up his knee in practice.

The Lions’ run defense is very poor, so expect a lot of David Montgomery in this one. Keep an eye on the injuries before deciding which route to take here.
