Javier Baez has had a unique season, but the entertainment factor has always been there for the Chicago Cubs infielder. Following a lengthy slump that started in early June, Baez is showing signs of snapping out of it and during Wednesday’s game against the Los Angeles Dodgers he gave Cubs fans at Wrigley Field a reason to chant his name.
First, Baez had three extra base hits, two doubles and a triple, making it his first three extra base hit game of his career.

After scoring the Cubs’ fourth run, Baez turned an unassisted double play to get Anthony Bass out of a mini jam in the eighth inning.
