Ben Zobrist Wins, MLB Has Gotten Rid Of Its Dumbass Shoe Policy

-

In 2018, Ben Zobrist, along with a few more players were warned and fined by MLB for the shoes they were wearing. Zobrist was so irate that he called out the league for the ludicrous policy on social media.

Well, Zobrist and the rest of MLB players have won, as the league has decided to end its stupid shoe policy.

Via USA Today.

“Among other things, MLB and the MLBPA have agreed to eliminate the previous rule that the majority of a Player’s on-field footwear must be in his Club’s designated primary shoe color. Instead, Players may wear shoes displaying any of the following colors, in any proportion: (i) black, white, and gray; (ii) any colors displayed on the Player’s uniform (and certain variations thereof); and (iii) any additional colors designated by the Player’s Club.”

And damn does Ben Zobrist have an A+ shoe game.

All right, now it’s time for MLB to let Willson Contreras wear his Venezuelan sleeve again.
