Michael Jordan of Chicago was named the NBA Finals MVP for the third consecutive year and is the first to accomplish this. He averaged a Finals record 41.0 ppg, along with 8.5 rebounds and 6.3 assists.

Michael Jordan’s NBA Finals accomplishments and moments in June are unprecedented. While the name of the month will never actually be changed, we can be grateful to have record of a basketball god.
