Chicago Bears fans are upset because their team is terrible. Here’s the thing. Most of us knew that likelihood was high. It’s never fun cheering for a bad team, but it’s easier when you see it coming. Imagine what it’s like to cheer for a team you thought would be Super Bowl favorites, and they start crumbling. Enter Green Bay Packers fans. Things are not going too well up north at the moment.
There was already a small underline of concern when the team got blown out by Minnesota on opening day. Still, Green Bay rallied to a 3-1 start after that. Things seemed back on track. Even so, there were lingering worries. They barely beat a horribly banged-up Tampa Bay team and then saw the Patriots take them to overtime with a rookie backup QB making his first start. Those felt like red flags at the time.
Then the other shoe dropped. The New York Giants stunned them 27-22, a game nobody saw coming. They didn’t have time to register what was happening before the New York Jets went into Lambeau Field on Sunday and smacked the Packers around for 60 minutes, walking out with a 27-10 win. The reaction from fans was, shall we say, unhappy.
This is something Packers Fans have been saying for a bit.
So little fight and crumbling under adversity.
Now you have opposing HC's saying it.
It's not a good look. https://t.co/gD4Y40X2wa

There will be plenty of hot takes this week – but here's the truth -there's not a single thing the Packers' do well right now:
They can't run
They can't throw
They can't get turnovers
ST's is better but still not good
They can't stop the run
They are inconsistent in pass D— Andy Herman (@AndyHermanNFL) October 16, 2022
Packers are an embarrassing football team

This isnt new, GB has always folded in the face of adversity. Haven’t done anything since 2010 consistently tk show me otherwise. Under MM under MLF, they could be rolling, 1 mistake? Fold.

This team has no heart.

Aaron Rodgers is playing like a QB who publicly feuded with his team, choked in the playoffs before mulling retirement, didn't believe he could help the team by coming to spring ball, and then spent the summer doing more podcasts than me.
But no, I can't figure it out either.

I keep seeing "the 2010 team started 3-3!" Too bad the 2010 Aaron Rodgers no longer exists. pic.twitter.com/BjWIBwjiH3

The Green Bay Packers are suddenly in no-mans-land.
Their chances of claiming the #1 seed in the NFC are practically out the window. Minnesota is 5-1 with a win over them already in their pocket. The NFC North is theirs to lose. That loss to the Giants could also come back to bite them in the wild card race. There is a very real possibility Green Bay could miss the playoffs in 2022. Their schedule doesn’t get any easier. Four of their next six games are against Buffalo, Dallas, Tennessee, and Philadelphia.
If that weren’t bad enough, there is a genuine fear that Aaron Rodgers may be contemplating retirement. He turns 39 years old in December and has looked far less engaged this season than in previous ones. As if the Packers crumbling weren’t bad enough, they may also soon be without a Hall of Fame quarterback for the first time in 30 years. That is not something fans want to think about.
Meanwhile, Bears fans continue to drink in every delicious moment.
And it’s going to get worse before it get’s better for them. They are already projected to start next offseason over the cap.
As my Dad use to tell me back in ’68, ‘Get a hair cut’ Rodgers!
🖕 Rodgers
We’ve seen this before, but from Holmgren and McCarthy – struggle (for the Packers) in the early season, then right the ship, squeak into the playoffs, and make some serious noise. Sure, I was rooting for the Jets yesterday, but I don’t put a lot of stock into the Packers being done. Now, when Rodgers finally retires, and Love is just an average QB, let’s see how they do. 30+ years of first ballot hall of fame QB play, and only two Superbowl wins – kinda sad, really. That’s just a half decade for Brady. But for now, the reports… Read more »
Life! is GOOD! when both!!! Rodgers (wow, dude… it’s a plant not a DRUG) and Brady (she said she wanted a divorce I didn’t want to listen so I thought I’ll go yell at my linemen) LOSE! Loved seeing Brady getting hit. Not a SUPERMAN without a PERFECT o-line, huh? NOW you feel OUR (bear fan’s pain). and Brady is a HOT head. GOOD idea brah. Yell at the people in charge of protecting your a$$. Personally I hope BOTH of them play the rest of the season and LOST on a regular basis… just so they know HOW IT… Read more »
